Anonymous asked: You like video games right? Tell me in detail your #1 game for 2010 and your #1 game for 2011.

I think this is is my first question in like a year and what a good question, but I don’t have a definitive absolute favorite game for either this year or last year. I’ll have to go through my mental notes.

2010: For a new IP, Bayonetta blew me away. Campy but in a charming way and with a combat system that was so perfect and smooth for the game. For some reason that I can’t explain, I was compelled to play the game through and through on all of the difficulties and completely annihilate it.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood brought with it a lot of great improvements to the game. The more free-flowing combat and chain kills made confrontations less of a hassle, and the Assassin recruits made killing while unnoticed so much more fun.

2011: I haven’t made much of a decision on this yet. Bulletstorm is the best new IP of the year; the Skillshots were a lot of fun and the story was entertaining the whole way through. I just wish there had been more game to love.

Other than that I’d say it’s between Skyrim, ACR and Saint’s Row for different reasons. None are perfect but they all have parts where they really shine.
